A vision board is usually a collage that helps people to arrange their goals. I’m sure you’ve heard of it before! I thought I would give it a go.
I’m not really into making a collage with little pieces of magazines because I think it looks a bit silly. Sooo I gave it my own twist and that’s kinda the great thing: you can make it however you want to! No matter if you decide to take your scissors and old Vogues, make a Pinterest board or make a more modern one like I did, it’s always right. I hope you enjoy mine!
MY VISION BOARD
1. Raise a Pug puppy 2. Graduate from college 3. Realize all the ideas I have for my blog
4. Visit New York 5. Get the tattoo I want 6. Make healthier choices
7. Get my driver’s license 8. Focus on the good things in life, remember that the little things count and cherish my family, friends and health 9. Buy my dream car, a Mini Cooper
I arranged these in no particular order but I would like to “accomplish” these things before/around graduation which means I still have three/four years to go. I’m definitely going to print this out and put it in a visible spot. Some say if you have a vision board around, a reminder of your goals, it helps you to achieve them! I don’t know about that but we’ll see that in three years time, won’t we? 😉
I think it’s awesome that each photograph represents an idea of which only I know all the (personal) details. For example: pictured in the third picture is Mascha from Beautygloss.nl, the most popular Dutch beautyblog at the moment. You may think I picked Mascha because I want a bazillion of followers and viewers like her. Bzzzz, wrong! (That bzzzz was supposed to be the sound of a wrong answer buzzer at a quiz, haha.) I picked Mascha because she’s has an amazing blog, always trusts her intuition and stays true to herself. If she has an idea, she makes it reality. Mascha follows her heart at all times and that’s why she’s an inspiration.
Do get started on your own vision board and feel free to share your results! I would love to see how yours look like.
What do you think of vision boards? Do you have your own or are you going to make one?
